DescriptionWestwood introduced The Income Opportunity Fund on January 1, 2003 in order to provide high current income for investors seeking income through dividend-paying and/or interest-bearing securities. The Income Fund is an actively managed portfolio with a focus on companies with strong cash flow that is sufficient to support a sustainable or rising dividend.
The fund invests in dividend-paying common stocks, preferred stocks, convertibles securities, energy MLPs and royalty trusts, REITs and selected debt instruments.
